Awareness of cellulite
has increased, and many products online mark this fact.
Our Recommended Cellulite Treatments

It's not clear to doctors why
some people have cellulite and others do not, only that it occurs more in women
than in men. This is because of the way that fat, muscle and the connective
tissues are distributed. Many products aim to combat the problem of cellulite.
Is cellulite a treatable
problem or simply just a personal trait?
Medical authorities agree that
cellulite is simply ordinary fatty tissue that lies deep in layers under the
skin. When the compartments that contain fat cells increase in size they bulge
and produce the dimply appearance. Some even say that cellulite is as normal as hair color or any other characteristic in people, and part of the great variety
in humans.
Cellulite, however, is not a
medical term. It refers to the condition of fat tissue under the skin
degenerating and leaving the well known description of the 'orange peel' look on
the skins surface. Cellulite problem areas include the buttocks, hips, abdomen
and thighs. The term cellulite was invented in 1973 by European salons and spas.
What is clear is that many
forms of cellulite removal treatments are offered as a guarantee to cellulite
reduction.
Cellulite treatment includes, loopha sponges, cactus fibers, mitts,
creams and gels. There are anti-cellulite treatments that claim to dissolve
cellulite, or massage cellulite away.
Professional
beauty salons offer skin care products that claim to fight cellulite with electrical muscle
stimulation, vibrating machines, inflatable hip high pressurized boots, hormone
or enzyme injections and heating pads. Some of these cellulite treatments are
said to need between five and fifteen sessions, and can be costly.
Two of the many cellulite
treatments available are 'Wellbox' tissular therapy, a live concentrated workout
that combines two world-renowned patented cellulite removal techniques and 'Velasmooth',
a painless and non-invasive cellulite removal therapy involving deep massage,
rolling and suction, and clinically proven infrared and radio energies.
