Acqua di Gio cologne by Giorgio Armani
What Giorgio Armani say....
Acqua di Gio for men is an
aquatic-woody musk. A fragrance of contrasting sensations. It opens with a
splash of freshness, like a powerful sea breeze that subsides into a very
natural harmony of water, flowers and fruit. Energizing, stimulating, it
expresses healthy sensuality, an authentic and serene virility. Its complexity,
however suggests a subtle personality full of nuance.
The fragrant trail, particularly lasting and memorable, adds a very pure element
of mystery, an intangible warmth.
What we say....
We found Acqua di Gio to be
little of an anomaly. When it's first sprayed out of the bottle, the scent
doesn't hit you as with most perfumes. However, leave it half an hour or so and
it begins to mix with your body chemistry, you begin to smell why this cologne
is so popular. The fragrance begins bright and citrusy but then evolves into a
very subtle warm tone with a distinctive sea breeze scent.
Our verdict: Great
all-rounder. Light enough to be worn all day, but subtle enough, after a couple
of hours, to be worn in the evenings.
What others say....
This one's a classic! When I was
still in high school my girl friends love boys who had this on...now that I can
buy one for myself, I often get asked what perfume I'm wearing...it doesn't fail
to get noticed... CHRISTIAN
Although in the last year or so
I've heard so many people talk about how much this cologne is overly worn, I
still think the scent overall is still great. KENNETH
Crisp and clean scent. Smells
like success. Only complaint is it doesn't last long enough. LAWRENCE
I really like this cologne a lot.
Its smells so refreshing and has such a sweet smell..... Go out and get this if
you don't have it already. ADRIAN
Very fresh, citrus, and light.
Aqua di Gio is the most popular fragrance of Giorgio Armani. If you want to be
fresh in a beach day, a cruise or wherever in summer, take it. But please, don't
use it in cold weather or raining places. And I don't recommend it for nights,
too light. MARCO
I'm usually not attracted to guys
that use a lot of cologne, or spend hours in front of the mirror before going
out, just find it girlish; I like to be the one that smells of perfume. For
boys, I like them just showered and natural, aftershave tops, but Acqua di Gio
is an exception. KATARINA
