L'eau D'issey perfume by Issey Miyake
 
With his fascination of all things
simple, it’s only natural that Miyake’s debut fragrance was based on the pure
element of water. A fresh and sparkling fragrance, L’Eau d’Issey is a blend of
light floral notes such as lily, carnation, freesia and lotus, with warmer
undertones of musk and amber seed.

What we say....
Our first impression of L’Eau
d’Issey was that it was an ultra-feminine, light, floral fragrance. Although it
smells absolutely wonderful, I was expecting a crisper, aquatic scent as well as
more oriental influences. That being said, the floral notes used are unique yet
harmonize beautifully for a truly inspirational and romantic fragrance. It’s
light enough for daytime wear but is exotic enough for a sweet night time scent.
There have been some complaints that this fragrance is not a long lasting scent;
however on the skin it smells quite pungent at first but eventually mellows out
to give a pleasing floral scent all day long.
Our verdict: We would
definitely recommend this for women who like feminine scents similar to Ralph
Lauren’s Romance.

Issey Miyake's L'eau D'Issey is a
fragrance which has been around for many years now, but I cannot find something
I love more! It is the epitome of fresh scents, yet still maintains its
femininity. Although it is versatile enough for every day wear, being such a
special favorite I reserve it for romantic evenings and special occasions. It
will be many years before I find another fragrance which can compete with this
